1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. 1 Satan appearing again before God, obtains further leave to tempt Job.
7 He smites him with sore boils.
9 Job reproves his wife, who moved him to curse God.
11 His three friends console with him in silence.

Shechin r?, supposed to be the Judham, or black leprosy, of the Arabs, termed Elephantiasis by the Greeks, from its rendering the skin, like that of the elephant, scabrous, dark coloured, and furrowed all over with tubercles. This loathsome and most afflictive disease is accompanied with most intolerable itching.
