1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; 1 The miracles wrought by God, when he brought his people out of Egypt, are a just ground of fearing him.
This short, and apparently imperfect Psalm, for elegance and sublimity, yields to few in the whole book. The composition of it is inexpressibly beautiful, and in the highest style of poetry.
